ABOUT
IRREVERENT ALCHEMY
Mario Mariani is a pianist and composer who moves between classical music, jazz, silent cinema and original theatre — without asking permission of any genre.
Born in Pesaro, his music flows between the concert hall and the stage, between composition and performance, between the written note and the impossible improvisation.
Official theme of the Venice Film Festival — twice. Not once — twice. Also: Cannes. New York. Piccolo Teatro di Milano. Jazz. Classical variations. Silent cinema. And things that have no name yet. He has never played the same concert twice. He considers this a feature, not a bug.
